 Collection of songs that were issued on the Tanza label, which were recorded at Auckland's Astor Studios in the mid 1950s.Tanza (To Assist New Zealand Artists) was developed by the Radio Corporation of New Zealand to promote New Zealand's talented singers and musicians.

This first edition of 'Tanza' features a diverse selection of songs from 1955 and 1956. The track listing was researched and compiled by radio host, Jim Sutton.
