During his life, the late Prince Tui Teka was a massively important figure in the music of New Zealand, and his legacy still lives on today. His travelling shows through the country became legendary. Hundreds would come to see him -- they would laugh, dance & delight in his rich voice. This collection of Maori songs showcases his talent perfectly. These favourites were a mainstay in his live performances and are very well known, particularly "Pokarekare Ana" & "Hoki Mai".
