John Clarke the legendary satirist and creator of the iconic cow cockie from Taihape left New Zealand in the late 1970s leaving behind a generation of Fred Dagg fans. Since then, he has been living in Melbourne. He is revered in Australia as the leading satirist of his generation.

This Authorised Daggography, celebrates a golden age in the nation's history, beginning with Mr. Dagg's emergence in the early 1970s.
