At the forefront of contemporary musicians coming out of Aotearoa, New Zealand the dynamic talents of Pacific Curls are Kim Halliday and Ora Barlow. In their latest metamorphosis The Curls have been joined by the extraordinarily talented Scottish fiddle player, Sarah Beattie, as they explore the correlation between Celtic and Pacific music. Pacific Curls consummate musicianship comes into play through their impressive use of over fourteen instruments including Traditional Maori instruments - flutes and percussion - ukuleles, stomp pedals, guitars, fiddle, cajons,djembe and awesome vocals! Beginning in October 2004, the Curls have recorded three albums, including a collaborative album with Planet Woman - a 5 piece fusion band of Pacific and Celtic Musicians.
