John Hanlon returns with his 2010 CD, 12 Shades Of Blue, the 2nd part of his planned trilogy of new albums.
At least two generations of New Zealanders have been born since John Hanlon was a regular feature on our airwaves. Those old enough to remember him will recall songs like the iconic Damn The Dam, the soaring melody of Higher Tails & jaunty pop beat of Lovely Lady.
John Hanlon dominated NZ’s Record Awards during the mid ‘70s, collecting Album of the Year & Songwriter of the Year awards 3yrs in succession.
12 Shades of Blue features immaculate blues tracks all written by Hanlon.
