Formed in the late 1960s the Hamilton County Bluegrass Band achieved major success in the 1970s with healthy album sales and popular live performances in New Zealand and Australia (touring with Slim Dusty) as well as regular appearances on TV show 'The Country Touch'.
The band continued to perform through the 1990s and have reformed to tour New Zealand in 2014.
