2017 released compilation from 1960s Country Star. Thirty track cd ,plus colour six page insert with photos ,history etc.
In 1965 Marina Devcich was spotted performing in Morrinsville with Howard Morrison which led to a successful audition with Viking Records' chief Ron Dalton, who rechristened her Maria Dallas.
Tumblin' Down was released and won the 1966 Loxene gold disc award. Maria released 3 singles ,5 eps and 2 albums by the end of 1966.
Maria then spent 3 months in Nashville recording with Chet Atkins after signing with RCA Nashville. From 1968 onwards Maria spent most of her time in Australia due to her ongoing success there, returning to New Zealand occasionally for tv appearances and live shows.
