Garageland admit to being songwriting classicists. Their musical terrain is the consistently tuneful zone first mapped out in the sixties when all garage bands put the rock attitude onto r'n'b and the better ones wrote great songs by it. It's a happy accident that a band named themselves after a Clash song and came wandering into the office of a record company who already happened to put out a lot of the band's favourite records and then a whole lot of other people heard them and figured they were actually bloody good.
