This is a great 25 track (36 minutes ) cd and 50 page full colour hardcover book only available in New Zealand and featuring various New Zealand musicians and actors.Full title is "Underwater melon man-and other unreasonable rhymes" It is aimed at kids but the artwork is quite surreal (sort of Dr.Seuss) and the songs -which are the rhymes set to music are fantastic.Neil Finn sings 3 tracks,Tim Finn 2 and Lucy Lawless guests on one track.
Other artists appearing are Bic Runga,Dave Dobbyn,Jenny Morris,Don McGlashan(Mutton Birds),Topp Twins,John Clark(Fred Dagg),Boh Runga,Renee Geyer,Che Fu,King Kapisi and Nathan Haines.
The book is beautifully illustrated and measures approx 8 x 12 inches.
