For years Barry Saunders was the face and voice behind New Zealand's best known country / folk band The Warratahs.An ideal vehicle for Barry's original material the band went on to produce four studio albums, a 'Best of' as well as tours and TV shows in New Zealand, Australia, South East Asia and the Islands.In 1995 after 9 years performing with The Warratahs , Barry recorded his acclaimed solo album 'The Weatherman' which was well received in NZ and Australia. Melbourne's Beat Magazine described it as "Springsteen in Tom Joad mode".
