"While their first release could be described as 'country music', 'The Way Of The Racer' is far more Morricone & Mariachi, that is to say it's that south of the border element that defines their latest work." - A Low Hum magazine The first Grand Prix album, 'Racing Lines', was a low-key event, performed & recorded without drums or bass & with only a stripped back vocal & twin guitar set up. Since that casual beginning, the line-up has expanded to 4 - with a hi-revving rhythm section set off by tex-mex trumpet - taking you straight to the remotest desert drag strip. 'The Way Of The Racer' was recorded live - no studio trickery for these gas guzzlers - exposing their kick ass chops. Lead single 'Way Of The Racer' played on all b-Net stations & Kiwi FM, while new single 'Racing On The Surface Of The Moon' is now also picking up great b-Net support.
