That's Country was undoubtedly one of NZ’s highest rating and much loved live music shows – screening at prime time on Saturday nights it ran for an impressive 8 years from 1976. In its final year it went international, screening on Nashville’s country music cable network. Filmed entirely on location in the Christchurch Town Hall and hosted by entertainer Ray Columbus the show featured the cream of New Zealand’s country music scene as well as regularly playing host to stars from the USA and Australia.
Following up the double platinum success of 2010's 'That's Country' DVD release comes 'That's Country Encore' (2011) - a 23 track dvd and cd set featuring more outstanding performances from the original television show.
The content was selected from the many episodes now held at the TVNZ Avalon archives and includes exceptional live performances from the legends of New Zealand country music along with international guest stars from Nashville and Australia.
Like the previous release, the DVD package also includes a CD version of the show's music.
