Recorded in 1986, this early collection by the Woolston, Christchurch foursome gathers the band’s first album and debut EP, along with the "I Like Rain" single.
The album is a cheeky grab-bag assortment that mixes Prince-y moves like "Let There Be Love" with purely white boy guitar strum in the form of "Grey Parade" and "Transatlantic Love Song" and throws in the clean pop of the single "I Like Rain" for good measure. The band gained international recognition and album releases on Communion USA and Matador Records on the back of these beguiling songs.
